27While doing some digging on the web I found this photos of Jon on the set of ‘The Division’ back in 2003 (They were filming this episode):
The track field and the boys’ athletic lockers were overrun by dozens of high school “wannabes,” extras pretending to be high school students. They were filming on March 24-25 for the Lifetime Channel’s newest episode of their hit show, The Division.
The episode of The Division filmed on campus revolves around a group of police detectives from San Francisco, five women and one man, serving and protecting the innocent. The episode filmed on campus consisted of adolescents in high school using steroids to improve their physical stature. Nate, a detective played by Jon Hamm, works undercover to find the students on campus who use the dangerous drug.
Hamm, the only male on the show, does not feel lost in a network full of women; rather, he feels comforted in his second season to be surrounded by such a great cast.
When asked why the network chose to work on this campus, Hamm said, “They liked the colors, they liked how it looked, and it looked like a cool place.”
Among the many members of the crew, key grip Michael Pizzuto, an alumnus from the class of 1971, returned to the campus with many fond memories.
“It was great. It was really a lot of fun,” said Pizzuto. “I had a lot of great classes and a lot of memorable teachers at Uni.”
